Swaying Smoke / High Tension Wires

“This piece is simply an aural depiction of high tension wire towers marring a wild, forested landscape.”

Written, performed and recorded by James Lowery in February, 2011

« It has been a while since I last had anything to say. But I have been working hard on new material. My first new release of 2011 is now available. You can download it from DomaData netlabel.

I also have two new albums with Public Spaces Lab netlabel. They will be released in the near future. One is an EP of ambient drone. The other is an electronic EP with strange melodies akin to my side project There Was Never a Way Out. I also have a track on a compilation that will be available soon.

I have sixteen other tracks that I have been sitting on. I’m not sure what to do with them since most are two minutes or less in duration. I’m thinking of self-releasing them as singles, but I’m not sure. Lastly, my current bit of work is focused on harsh ambient noise. The three completed tracks sound good to me, but this album is very much a work in progress. — Swaying Smoke »

DomaData releases are hosted on Bandcamp, so there is a limited number of free downloads as per the site’s restrictions. Once those are gone, there will be a small price to get the release. So, act fast if you want it for free.
