I took this image at the ACL Fest in Austin. It was painted by the amazing Chicano artist, George Yepes. These large guitars were displayed around Austin and were being auctioned for charity. The original painting can be seen here.
This was originally photographed with a digital camera. I printed onto matte photo paper and then “copied’ it onto Polaroid film using one of these little copy stands under tungsten lights. The first attempt was even more yellow, so I waited a little longer before peeling-apart the film which made it less yellow, but I got more lift off.
